McKenzie Kock was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where she attended Balleraena Dance Studio for 15 years and was a member of the Balleraena Dance Company for 3 years. During her time at Balleraena, she traveled to New York under a dance scholarship and has studied under well known artists such as Eric John Campros, Tracie Stanfield, Dana Alexa, Matt Steffanina and more. After graduating from Lincoln High School in 2015, she began school at Minnesota State University, Mankato where she will begin her final year studying exercise science and minoring in dance in August. She has now been a member of the LiRa Dance Theater Company for 3 years which is the first professional dance company in Sioux Falls. McKenzie also stays busy with participating in Dancing With the Sioux Falls Stars and football sideline cheer at MSU, and enjoys choreographing, teaching, and stage managing.
