Miss Brittany has been dancing since the age of 2 and is in her 14th year of teaching! She took lessons, competed and started teaching with Spotlight Dance. She started in the dance program at Minnesota State University as a junior in high school. At age 18 she was offered a teaching position. Before she started teaching full-time, she had the opportunity to tour with different dance competitions as a judge. When she completed the dance program at Minnesota State, at age 21, she was offered a partnership with the studio. At age 23 she owned Spotlight Dance Company and continues growing the program. Brittany is always continuing her dance education by attending clinic & conventions all over the Midwest. In her teaching career she has earned many choreography, high point and judge’s choice awards at both the Regional & National level. She has won numerous National Runner-Ups and 1 National Title, while competing all over the United States. She’s so excited to spread the love of dance! She teaches both recreational & competitive classes. Her favorite style to dance is tap and her favorite style to teach is jazz. Her favorite part of her job is working with all ages of students and watching them as they grow.
